(Columbia) November 17, 2006 - A heat lamp from a snake tank is being blamed for an afternoon apartment fire in Columbia.
The fire happened on the first floor at the Biltmore Apartments off Beltline Boulevard.
Officials say the fire caused about $75,000 in damage.
Two cats and a python were killed in the fire. Everyone inside got out safely.
